Well maybe I am just lucky but no one has broken into my van. Knock on
Wood. That said, I think it is because the body is pretty funky and so it
has this false image thing going on for it. However it is sound in every
other sense which is really more important to me.  I just wish I could get
30 miles to the gallon. By the way our other car is a Pruis and the multi
function display went south dealer price was 6500.00 . Glad it was still
on warrenty.You could buy a lot of vanagon parts for kind of money.
