Wow, We have been making screen kits for years for vanagon http://fanchers.com/223/Screen%20Replacement.htm Even have a Video for it now. You could have purchased the "screen kit " and sewn the zipper to it your self. We supply the adhesive but will not bond well to synthetics. The Zipper has been on my never ending List of products I want to make But proper install is always a question. I have done a few prototypes just not finished to liking yet, Should have down soon. But my shop is extremely busy with Boat and RV season on us. Here is a link to all the VW related items we make in case your wondering or didn't know to save you some time and money in the long run. http://fanchers.com/59/VW%20Stuff.htm Good Luck Jonce www.fanchers.com >Hi all. > >Still need to glue screen bottom to canvas and decide on zipper detail >at bottom each side, but this should all work out ok. > >Pics: > >https://picasaweb.google.com/musomuso/1981WestyPoptopFrontScreenReplacement?authkey=Gv1sRgCLihkY-j3bjb0gE# > >Beige material would have been better IMO.
