I just did the Kennedy mod on my governor. It actually works better than before. It moved the shift point up about 800 rpms. I agree with everybody when they say it shifts too early. Since I put my new motor in (ford) the rpm range went too 7000 rpms so when it was shifting at 4200 rpms it wasn't using the full potential. At least now it shifts at 5000 rpms. and more into the power band on the engine. When I really want to move out I shift manually. The mod was worth the 1 hr's work it took to do it and I would recommend it.
