I installed an istrument that looks and works in every way the same as the '85 one I had in there, except this one makes the buzzer go when the engine speed is over 2k rpm.  
The question is; can I disconnect that feature from this later model one or do something that will stop the buzzer?
Or whatever is the solution to this problem
