My 86 van needs a new spindle due to wear on the outer bearing
seat.  I have an 85 parts van, mfg date on the driver's door jam is
10/84.  It had the cast lower control arms though.  That seems
strange in itself.  The real question I have though, is if the
spindle from the 85 will work on the 86.  Both have the cast lower
control arms...  I know the early version of the spindle or "steering
knuckle" is different from the one used with the later front
suspension with the cast lower control arm.  So if my 85 has the cast
lower control arm spindle should be the same?
