Dear Volks,

Got a friend in Boston with a '91, just got a brand new steering rack
installed along with left upper control arm, radius arm biscuits and
such.  He's concerned that the steering is "stiffer."  I'll get a
better feel for what that means when I see him in a week or two, but
meantime, anyone with experience of the steering feel changing when
replacing rack?
