You intend to spray foam on the underside of the poptop? I just sprayed the garage. 1800 sq ft of that stuff. It'll be interesting to see how it comes out. Getting a "presentable" even finish will be a challenge. Having experienced the heat-stopping results of the foam on the sunny side of my steel garage walls, I would expect excellent results in blocking the suns heat in summer and keeping heat in, in winter Shawn 87 Syncro "Eeyore" -----Original Message----- From: Vanagon Mailing List [mailto:vanagon@gerry.vanagon.com] On Behalf Of Alistair Bell Sent: Saturday, June 04, 2011 9:57 PM To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Subject: pop top work got some work done on the pop top yesterday and today... de-flocking the ceiling and made a start painting. http://shufti.wordpress.com/2011/06/04/vanagon-pop-top-work/ alistair PS it is amazing how pleasing a fresh coat of paint can be :)
