I wanted to add one more thing that is nice about connecting an Android (or
iPhone).

1.  You can listen to music non-stop without commercials "over the Internet"
via Pandora or Jango or a couple of others.

2.  It can receive all the police scanners and emergency services.  For
Android I have the app called Scanner Radio:

I just select which feed I'd like to monitor, city police, sheriff, etc.  It
even shows the feeds that are near your location, so in the road you can
switch to the local emergency responder radio channel.  No real practical
value yet, just kinda cool, but it may come in real handy some day.
