Hi all my uncle had a 1.6na diesel rabbit about an 82 he drove it daily till about 99 had a bazillion miles on it he'd still have it if the cancer hadn't taken it over all i knew was glow plugs and a timing belt was easy in my 82 1.6 na westy i had the head off for a repair and put on new belt took me less than 3 hrs to do just need the dial indicator that screws into th rear of injection pump i think it was. 035-.038 at tdc if memory serves me correct my westy gets about 30mpg but a dog ob power I see an upgrade in the future 1.9 td or a tdi if im lucky On Jun 17, 2011 7:28 PM, "neil n" <musomuso@gmail.com> wrote: Yes!
