Happy Birthday! Go ahead and buy it Jeff. In a former life I drove Fiats on road and track, raced a 124 and an X1/9 and just recently sold a whole car's worth of speed parts including a European 1608 engine with matching twin Webers etc. If you can stay away from rust, the mechanicals are very solid. And set up correctly it will smoke an Alfa, guaranteed! ;) On Fri, Jun 17, 2011 at 12:56 PM, Jeff Palmer <jpalmer@mymts.net> wrote: > So as my 40th birthday approaches and along with it a self-imposed mid-life > crisis, can someone tell me why I shouldn't buy a red Fiat 124 Spider > convertible with 46,000 miles. > ThanksJeff -- Jake 1984 Vanagon GL 1.9 WBX - 'The Grey Van' 1986 Westy Weekender/2.5 SOHC Subie - 'Dixie' Crescent Beach, BC www.thebassspa.com www.crescentbeachguitar.com http://subyjake.googlepages.com/mydixiedarlin%27
