my vanagon front bleed valves are all 10mm. I keep my one smap-on 9mm wrench in a separte stash of weird tools. I'd know it was used on vanagon front bleed valves for sure. rear wheel cylinder bleed valves .. good german ones use a 7mm. cheap non-german ones may use a 1/4 inch. I havn't seen any rear 8mm bleed valves myself. what are the two tubing nut wrench sizes that you really need on a vanagon ? Can't work on clutch or brake lines properly without them. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Alistair Bell" <albell@SHAW.CA> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Friday, June 17, 2011 8:24 PM Subject: Re: wrench/socket (nut and bolt head) sizes > and some vanagon bleeders, my front calipers for example. > > the bigger bleeders that take the 8 mm are, I think, stronger. > > alistair > > > On 17-Jun-11, at 4:51 PM, Scott Daniel - Turbovans wrote: > >> 9mm ..won't find that anywhere except mercedes brake bleed valves, >> that I >> know of.
