Funny thing, the squared off front on that canvas is very much like the OEM ones from 91 and maybe 90.  I like the perimeter zipper better too, but they apparently changed the design at the end of the run so the screen could be removable.   And I agree, it is nice, but not up to the level of original Westfalia quality IMO.

Next time, I'd look into the company in canada that custom makes them.  The material looks like better quality, it has a perimeter zipper in front, it costs a little bit more and the fit is a little loose (they say they do it on purpose, so maybe it can be made tighter)
