A friend of mine has an 86 Westy with a new 2.1 block rebored to 2.2. When driving with engine at op temp RPM surges to 2200 RPM. We check to find vacuum leaks: no leaks found. Idle controller has been change for a used unit. At idle the engine is rough but not running rich. Good power on higway. Any ideas? Best regards. Gilles Turmel
