very nice.. but ...please, what the hell is anything like "19/32" !!!! ? an example of one place metric makes a whole lot more sense ! looks like you missed 9/16th's and 14mm. a 14mm is a quite tight 9/16th's, and a 9/16 is a very loose 14mm. once in a while that is useful to know. and 23mm.. I have never found one of those on any vehicle ever.. 21, 22, and 24 yes... but 23 ..no way ! and something like 19/32 .............I BETTER not be looking for anything like that ! lol. scott ----- Original Message ----- From: "John Rodgers" <inua@CHARTER.NET> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Monday, June 27, 2011 6:31 AM Subject: Re: wrench/socket (nut and bolt head) sizes > Here's some common wrench comparisons: > > Close enough--- > > 5/32 = 4mm > 5/16 = 8mm > 7/16 = 11mm > 15/32 = 12mm > 19/32 = 15mm > 3/4 = 19mm > 29/32 = 23mm > > Like I said - close enough.
