Often overlooked on the vanagon suspension is the front radius rod mounts and the lower control arm bushings. The radius rod maounts effect the Caster angle and if they move when loaded can cause excessive tire wear and strange pulling to one side. I normally do but apparently not close enough over the last year or so. And now I have a left front badly worn on the inside edge (camber problems) and a right front with feathering on the outside edge (cause unknown) and will be replacing at least one and probably both. And then to the alignment shop.
