There's a LineX (spray on bedliner) shop next to my Prius shop in Boulder.

One of their customers decided to coat his Syncro Westy entirely in LineX so
it wouldn't rust/get rock chips.  Apparently it was cheaper than a normal
paint job, although probably adds quite a bit of weight to the car.

to each his own I guess...
