Several of us read about a case that turned into a lawsuit in Florida.
It resulted in death and a person being badly injured.
As usual there was more than one factor.
Not proper  load rated tires and they over loaded the vanagon as well.
They sued tire shop, tire manufacturer and VW.
They were successful to a large extent I believe.
