Does the '84 Westy stock air conditioner have a way to boost the idle
when the compressor is engaged?

If so, what's the mechanism?  Is it called an "idle stabilizer," or
something else?

I did search for the answer, but couldn't get a clear understanding.

(In my '84 Westy, there's no idle boost when the compressor is
engaged.  Very inconvenient.)
