It looked just like a Sprinter or a Mercedes...elongated nose, tall and
skinny...great big VW emblem on the grill.  It was parked at Doug's Beach, a
popular windsurf spot in the Columbia River Gorge, and much frequented by
'generously funded' sports enthusiast.  The Gorge is like a "toy" display
destination....so many fancy rigs with gear of all types hanging off
everywhere...Sprinters, Range Rovers, 4X4 Sportmobile domestic vans, more
vanagons than you can count, etc etc.

  I didn't but catch a glimpse of this extra large new style VW van as I
passed by...must be a Euro model....Probably well beyond my means, but it
will give the Sprinter owners something to trade up to, I guess.
