Ben; I want to change wheels to expand my now-dwindling tire choices for my 1983 diesel Westy five speed. I am not looking to regear the drivetrain, and I don't care if I end up with alloys or steels. Some drilling doesn't scare me at all. What I don't want: $$$ Interference on the car or in the spare tray. Spacers. Anything underrated for the weight of the car. Some aftermarket MB clone wheels have an offset comparable enough to fit. There is no exact fit. Just an acceptable one. > > Jim, you will need to narrow your question. 2WD or Syncro? Big brake or not? Alloy or steel?
