hi, nice to see your post .. perhaps your TP monitoring system is simplier than what I have read about in professional automotive repair trade magazine articles. I suspect your car has an indirect TP warning system.. the actual pressure in the tire is not tracked by any system, instead the ABS system can tell when a tire is low, since it'll turn faster than the other ones.. and sets a warning that way. so you just leave a Maint. Reminder light on ........bad consumer, bad driver ! ----- Original Message ----- From: <mcneely4@cox.net> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM>; "Scott Daniel - Turbovans" <scottdaniel@turbovans.com> Sent: Friday, September 23, 2011 8:12 AM Subject: Re: Re: flashing coolant light purpose > ---- Scott Daniel - Turbovans <scottdaniel@turbovans.com> wrote: >> and don't try to rotate your tires yourself on that car Dave. >> You can't do that right without also 'teaching' the system what new >> position >> each tire is in. > > Hmmmm........ .
