Me? I'm almost older than dirt. Just turned 72 this month. First VW - a '63 beetle acquired in 1964. First bus - a '68 loaf acquired in 1980. I immediately had a 2150 cc motor with a Holley 2-barrel carb built and installed. That thing would scat. First Vanagon - a 1985 GL, purchased in Soldotna, AK in 1990. Been a Vanagon man ever since. Now own three - two '88 GL's and a '91 Carat. The Carat is a project vehicle. The two '88's are on the road.
