I know mine flashes way to fast if a bulb is burnt out on a side! It has
somthing to do with the bi metalic strip/ contact in the relay,it needs to
match the amp draw of the flashers.may be another ground issue? The bi
metalic strip is two different metals having different expansion rates under
heat that are bonded together making it curl under heat/amp load. It may be
the wrong one if it is,simple fix compared to chasing grounds. I have the
whole slider door that I replaced the glass is still good and latches, if I
can figure out how to remove it without damaging, pay shipping and its yours!

My first VW was a 1964 bug I drove and maintained for a long summer in 1968.
On loan from a Vietnam draftee. Fortunately he returned to collect it back.

It had the reserve gas tank lever and no fuel gage along with other luxury
features.

Now as novice owner of the Yellow Sub (82' camper diesel na) I am working
towards my own registration tags -- Maryland State Safety Inspection.
Thanks for all on this list who helped me so far. Five new spec tires. The
oil pan now welded, installed and holding oil. Many more fixes you can
guess.

The Inspector says:

1 - *Rear Brake Drums* are worn below spec. Who
has these? Not the pads. Drums.
2 - *Turn signals flash way too fast. *
I checked bulbs and corrected the size. Is this a relay issue?
3 - Needs a *replacement side sliding window *in side door Mine is
plastic, cracked and has no latch lock.

Sources welcome.
Is anybody parting out who can help?
