Mike,

I didn't think it would compare to my toyota, but I used that as a optimistically best case baseline :-) I'm waiting to check the level of the ATF - unfortunately, there's no level ground around my house. I have to drive it somewhere and park it and check it (warm with the engine going in park or neutral - done it many times on other cars). I measured the amount I took out and put in the exact same amount. The ATF was changed before I went to Santa Fe this summer (no leaks - same problem before and after). When I bought the car in May, the trans was overfull, I think it was overfilled to try to mitigate this problem (or something was added to try to help it).

Seems to slip sometimes when slowly speeding up at low speeds - around 10 MPH - and sometimes more on turns (maybe right turns?). General shifting seems slow as well, but I'm now worried about it so I'm really focused on it. Certainly not as smooth as my '06 Tacoma.
