We had something like that about 10 yrs ago here in Iowa on halloween
night!!! I was lucky just a day and a half without power!! Had wood
fireplace and gas stove to cook with!!! Just don't know how good we have it
till its gone!!!

 till it burned thru the wire..

many in the area are still w/o power... i was lucky they were able to  get
to it...
