I sometimes think that it's a matter of opinion on this subject of Lucas
electrics, at least from the past.  About a year ago, on a photography list
that I'm on, somehow the same subject came up.  I made a comment about
needing a 'Lucas Smoke Injector' and got back a blast from one member about
how great Lucas electrics (and British cars in general) were and especially
compared to the horrible Bosch electrical components.  And I hadn't
mentioned Bosch, he threw that in on his own.
