I have two of those.  The newer one had the adapter plugs polarized  so
that you can't get them wrong.  But after you select the plug that fits
your laptop take a piece of tape and tape the plug in place on the cord.
Also put a piece of tape over the selector after it is set to the voltage
for your computer.
