This is what I use ... mounted just below the OE gauge pod, on the plastic
steering column cover.

I've seen them mounted on top of the pod, down to the right on the metal
facia just below the heater dials, all over the place. I wanted to use it for
my speedo, tach, MPG, and coolant temp so I check it often. Back lit
in 4 colors you select yourself. Very programmable.
