someone else on the list once mentioned replacing the clock with one from a Jetta. He said the clock emitted red rather than green light. I have contemplated off and on ever since trying to find a clock at a junk yard, from a Jetta or whatever. But instead, I bought a little clock for $3 from somewhere, and fastened it with the adhesive on its back to the dash top above the radio. Works for me. mcneely ---- Zeitgeist <gruengeist@GMAIL.COM> wrote: > Many moon ago I swapped in the LCD clock from a Mk2 Golf, and it worked for > a long time. It is now dead and mourn my loss.
