Be careful. A group 48, often interchanged with a group 91 is 7=1/5 inches
tall. The group 41 should be 6-5/8 inches tall.

Subject: Battery at Costco

While travelling through Florida we stopped at the Costco in Naples
on our way to visit Peter Marsh. At the Costso I saw that they are now
carrying Interstae batteries and not the Krikland brand. They now have a
suitable battery for our Vanagons. Here is what I found: Interstate, GP
91, 700CCA, 30 month free exchange, 85 month total warranty, $69.99, Code
10, item #517999, dimensions: 11-7/8" x 6-7/8" x 6-7/8" . They also had
group 41 and 42 which also fit but are smaller with lower is CCA. This is
the first time I see a battery for our Vanagons at Costco since they
discontinued having the Kirkland model some time ago. Not sure if this is
the case at all Costco's as we only stopped at the one in Napels so far on
our journey. If you are by a Costco go have a look and report back.

Please note that I will be away from my business travelling from
November 01 until April 30, 2012. Parts orders will be processed although
not as quickly as usual. I will always be available for contact by E-mail.
If you phone your call will be addressed by Greg T. Brown here and he will
either call you back or advise you to contact me directly by E-mail. Details
of this adventure are on our Travel Blog: http://frankcondelli.com/travels/
