OK, I've got an entire air distribution box with heater blower (1990) out
on the table. I also have a 12V jump-starter for a power source and some
probes. The blower has the stock connector on it.

What do I do to see if the thing operates before I put it in the car?

I also have the switch that goes to the connector if necessary.
