...someone asked me for a follow-up as they've been having the same problem.

Autohaus (referred by GoWesty in Los Osos) got the van right in and replaced both cylinders in a couple of
 hours. He also found a wire that had fallen off and put it back on.

The
clutch pedal had been going near the floor (I had been told that was do
to the clutch itself which will need replacing soon) but now it has
plenty of pressure.

I did have some chattering this morning which worried me, although it went away.
