My local Ace guy is kind of a hardware nut (pun intended). He literally has 3 aisles of hardware. Each aisle is approx. 50’ long, and both sides are nothing but nuts, bolts, etc. One of the three aisles is dedicated to metric hardware of all types and grades, from 3mm to 14mm. Not just regular old nuts & bolts either. He has cap bolts, studs, socket heads, castle nuts, nylocks, flange nuts, acorn nuts, etc., etc… It’s kind of a distraction though. Every time I go there, I end up spending and extra 10 minutes browsing. Especially for nuts and washers. Also the stainless is usually A2, not A4. My local Ace Hardware has an INCREDIBLE supply of metric hardware. By far the best I've ever seen. My shop is in the same building as a Fastenal store and Ace easily tops them on metric inventory. They even have stainless steel... Cheers, Jeff
