Yes, this is what I always do.
The westy seats are just not good on ma' hinney !!!
The Carat seats are way more comfortable !
I'm 5'10" (&165 lbs. (NOT :o)
so I also like that they raise me up the couple of inches.
I can see the road much better.
Now,,, If mini skirts would only come back into style !!!   ;o)
