a good shop will write... adjusted this, inspected this, tightened this, re-set this, lubricated that, replaced X Y and Z .., in other words.. detail description of what they actually did. And it should-could be clear enough that no one has to explain it. ----- Original Message ----- From: "David M" <covrambles@YAHOO.COM> To: <vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM> Sent: Thursday, December 22, 2011 4:12 PM Subject: Re: good news, I think A good repair shop would read thru the bill with you, explain what each item was, and give you a chance to ask questions.... but maybe you were in a hurry? -David (1987 Wolfsburg) --- On Thu, 12/22/11, Joy Hecht <jhecht@ALUM.MIT.EDU> wrote: From: Joy Hecht <jhecht@ALUM.MIT.EDU> Subject: Re: good news, I think To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Date: Thursday, December 22, 2011, 1:21 PM new distributor cap, cleaned the spark plugs, and I'm not sure what else.
