I'll let you all read the details (some are pretty interesting) but I found
out this evening after buying a loaf that Pumpernickel bread is associated
with the folk of Westphalia (Westphalia). I'm not sure if the definition of
the word Pumpernickel could pass the censors here, but if you Google it you
might discover the basis of that "Volkswagen smell."
