At the risk of arousing the moderators outside of Frydae...... I think that Verizon wireless can provide equipment to do this with my IPhone 4, but it costs a good many extra gazinks for the privilege. So this is significant. Has anyone tried the iPhone version (http://www.junefabrics.com/iphone/index.php)? Apparently it doesn't have Apple's blessing, so what is this "jailbreak" entail that they discuss? Great instead of hunting for a Starbucks or MacDonalds to get wifi. Or if you have poor wifi service like I did last night at a casino RV park.
