At first I didn't believe what I was seeing but I have a data
connection with my Droid and Verizon way the hell out in the middle of
the Mohave Preserve!  Slow as hell but working, using PDANet to
connect my laptop to the phone.  Go figure.  BTW. I do have a one bar
voice connection, haven't even tried to use that.
