You know I fully agree, and comparing a very early air cooled to something GoWesty has gold plated is funny.� But it does look pretty clean (carpet, original canvas fair/good for age) aside from that rip in the seat.� Of course being an automatic aircooled�Westy if�driven out of the�DC metro area into hills, or at beltway speeds�it is probably on its 3rd engine at those miles.� I've bought the exact same van (miles, etc) but without the seat rip before for $1000, but that was 7-8 years ago, so is it worth $3500, no but if truely clean, probably worth something...
