That brown one also looked like it still needed $5K worth of body and paint
work. I'm now working on an 82 that someone paid close to $10K for. Yep,
doing an engine 3,000 miles after they bought it.

Like I said then, perhaps there is a grounswell in aircooled Vanagon Westy
value I don't appreciate, but a nonrunner is a $1000 van to me, even with my
arcane 90's sense of value, $1500 perhaps.��Just as value has climbed,�parts
$$�to build a solid T4 even if you don't go gold plated, have just kept
climbing in the last 10 years, and one would be more have�well over�$5k into
this thing if you aren't going to do it yourself.� Let him "rering it" and
buyer then beware...
