Later ones have a whit (ish) pickup screened on the bottom that floats in the center there where yours has that little sump.� I've never opened up an early one like that Rob, actually in some ways a bit better if the gas finds it way into the little baffled sump area there...� Nice pics, I take it was rusted down in the sump area?

The one tank I opened up had no screen, does anyone have a picture of
