hairdryer and a credit card.

  that's it.   the credit card is used as a flexible  scraper.  it wont
scratch the paint and is thin enough to get under the  edge of the emblem.  the
hairdryer is used to warm the emblem and soften  the adhesive.

if you dont use a hairdryer you will break the emblem for sure in these
temperatures.

dont use a heat gun.
