Wait a sec. I sold a couple of GL front seats a few years back to a lady across the country from me and it was at YOUR suggstion that I chose Greyhound as the shipper. That worked fine and I believe there was tracking and delivery info on that parcel. Low cost (about $75 Richmond>Seattle) and I think additional insurance was available and that I did get it. They may do worse on large items than on small, but neither I nor the recipient had any complaints that one time. Thanks for that recommendation. Stephen --- On Fri, 2/24/12, JordanVw@AOL.COM <JordanVw@AOL.COM> wrote: From: JordanVw@AOL.COM <JordanVw@AOL.COM> Subject: shipping large items greyhound BAD IDEA To: vanagon@GERRY.VANAGON.COM Date: Friday, February 24, 2012, 3:10 PM a friend just had a large vanagon seat shipped coast to coast greyhound..it never made it here...just a warning.. dont let the cheap shipping rates fool you..no tracking.. no guarantees... its a crap shoot.. dont use greyhound to ship anything that you actually want to see it reach its destination ....
