All is well otherwise.  But as soon as I press the accelerator, it dies.  And I have the air flow meter connected.  I do have other AFMs if that maybe the trouble, but I thought, I would rather ask the List of Great Minds.

AFM is connected,
fuel pressure is constant 40psi
relays seem to work just fine
battery is great
lots of great spark
timing is correct

it's running well in idle.  

2.1 L engine, Vanagon, 1990 model, white, van, ...

Anyone has an idea?  Please.
