Sorry if this has been brought up before.  

The DIN depth on the Vanagon seems to be just a about 1 inch shy of standard depth for a modern receiver.  I know there are some that will fit, but we really like one that has a slide out motorized screen and is about an inch too deep.

Has anyone  found a solution to the depth issue?  Perhaps  an adaptor or sleeve that will cover the exposed receiver to make it more more attractive?
