Hmmm........ .  How would that be different from with a standard type door?  Open the door, get wet, whether the door opens in the normal manner or folds under the car.

I'm not saying that I think it is good idea, or that I am going to rush out and buy one.  I'm just wondering how your particular observation points up a disadvantage.
