We went to Laguna San Ignacio for the whale watching. The main Baja road is better than ever and the side roads have been getting improvements as well. The roads are often still narrow and you do have to pay attention when large vehicles are passing the other way. We saw a stream of large snow bird rigs heading north as we went south, most with Canadian plates. Tourism is still way down but improving again and there were people camped at the usual places. RVs can do it so no sweat for a 2wd Westy. Mark Trevor wrote: > Was that Bajia de Magdalena? > > What a perfect winter Westy place to Venture to!
