How to diagnosis stopped up exhaust, including catalytic converter, muffler,
collapsed exhaust pipe, BANANA UP THE TAIL PIPE (Eddie Murphy Beverly Hills
Cop), etc.

1) Power loss - Worse at speed, wont notice much when free wheeling engine
2) Funny exhaust sound (somewhat of a "Hissing" sound)
3) Place a vacuum gauge on a intake side outlet. Gauge will read almost
normal at idle, will go into a "Pressure" reading at about 2000 RPM's. You
will get pressure from crankcase, or oil filler cap.
4) After running for a while, shoot the exhaust system end to end with a
infrared temp gauge. The temp will be very high at the point of blockage,
may even glow red hot at that point. It will be cold or cool beyond that
point.

AVOID ANY CATALYTIC CONVERTER DUST!
