While running errands last weekend I found a Clark Cortez motorhome (built by the Clark Equipment Co.) parked near a shabby-looking used car lot. The Cortez looked a little shabby, too, but it sounds like an interesting vehicle according to my reading: http://www.cortezcoach.com/index.php/historical-info/cortez_history/ My pix: https://picasaweb.google.com/bike2vcu/_ClarkCortez?authkey=Gv1sRgCNys37OR5riKBg# With the front-drive layout, it appears that some owners swapped in an Olds Toronado 455 or a Caddy Eldorado 500 engine/drivetrain combo for more git. This one has a nifty gated shifter (just like a Ferrari!) and a dished steering wheel that looks like it came out of a '59 Batmobile and is probably one of the early ones, likely with the slant 6 engine. I really don’t need to get more interested in this thing, but just thought someone else with a camper jones would like to see it. Stephen
