Yea ,mine just went flat on me too. I got them from the local u pull it
salvage with many other parts and am looking to replace with good new ones
at reasonable price!! I know cheap parts are cheaply made. Any hints??

Westys, in particular, have struts that allow for closing the hatch part
way and staying there.  My experience with the cheap ones is that
they don't work like that and go flat real quick.  That hatch is HEAVY.
